Trans-Pacific Design Wins Two ASID Hawaii Interior Design Awards

Trans-Pacific Design left this year's Award celebration with two Hawai'i Interior Design awards! One for this beautiful home on the water on Hawai'i island. The most rewarding things about working on this tropical interior were the great clients, and working with Terry Cisco of Dinmore & Cisco Architects.

Our client loved patterns, warm tropical colors and plenty of texture in the furnishings and fabrics.  The location of this Hawai'i home is quite beautiful - right on the oceanfront.

The second award was for a model home we completed with the help of our summer intern, Cassidy Cabel, for DR Horton/Schuler Homes in their Luala'i Development in Waimea on the Island of Hawai'i.

This model is one of the developer's smaller starter homes for either a retired couple or a new family.  The challenge was to create a light, open feeling while providing enough furniture and comfort for daily living.

It was fun to see old friends at the event held at the Pacific Club. The food  was great and Howard Dicus is a very funny emcee!
